Avery Students Receive I Macs
Bruce Guy and his son Zach were on hand to pick up one of the new laptops.
The Avery High Sophomore Class and their parents were on hand last week to receive new I Mac laptops.
The students and parents first met in the cafeteria to fill out the proper paper work.
After that there were breakout sessions for orientation about the I Macs care, internet safety and also being responsible for this great program that will rank Avery County at the top as far as advances in technology for its students.
Superintendent David Burleson spoke to one breakout group.
Students from grade 6- 12 will have computers assigned to them for home use.
